Therapy Policies
Payment for all treatments
Payment is accepted via bank transfer at the time of booking each appointment to secure the session.
Cancellations and reschedules
If you are to cancel a session with less than 24 hours notice, the session fees are 100% non refundable as I still have to pay for the room fees and holding that space open rather than taking other clients. Furthermore, I allow two reschedules at no extra cost providing you notify me with more than 24 hours notice, if this requirement is not met the session fees will not be refunded as well as if you exceed the allowed two reschedules.
1. 24 hours notice or no refund.
2. Only two reschedules allowed as long as there is more than 24 hours notice.
Late attendance and going beyond the allotted time
I kindly ask that you remain as punctual as possible to each session you book, I want you to get the most from your sessions with me and use our time together efficiently, so, if you are over 10 minutes late the session will be cut short and there will be no payment refunded for this.
As I have to be aware of other Therapists needing the room, each session will end no later than 5 minutes beyond the agreed time slot.
Contact in between sessions and outside of our sessions
Most communication will be achieved via email, this will be to transfer files such as contracts, waivers or handouts, setting up appointments and sharing resources in between session, this will be mostly guided and initiated by myself. I may send text reminders of our sessions or use your phone number to contact you to keep you updated in case of any delays or problems.
If we are to bump into each other in a public setting outside of our sessions together I will not approach you and will only respond if you initiate contact and I will respond only in a way that does not reveal our work together.
Data handling
I comply with my obligations under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) by keeping personal data up to date; by storing (and destroying it) securely; by not collecting or retaining excessive amounts of data; by protecting personal data from loss, misuse, unauthorised access and disclosure and by ensuring that the appropriate technical measures are in place to protect personal data.
Confidentiality
I keep complete confidentiality between all of my clients at all times outside of two exceptions.
1. Receiving support and guidance from a professional supervisor in a way that ensures I am always practicing and providing therapy at my highest capability. As I do this I will speak with complete anonymity giving the supervisor no possible way to identify the client.
2. If I suspect my client may be in a dangerous situation or causing harm to themselves or others. In which case I will make contact with appropriate services for this situation.
